Parody of 'Evening Prayer'Broad and dim, the streets seem vast. Hurrying home, noticing the dreary light, It seeps through trees and leaves. Past the branches, on the rightside, Light escapes the rest of the world as The sun sets. Left, standing tall, not humid, a building of religion. Doors opened for weekly mass. No one around; just trees and concrete and cars. Following ahead is an empty playground. Swings, swinging, in the slightly moist, But cool and soothing air.
